Weldon Owen is located in the historic Jackson Square District of San Francisco (part of what was once the infamous and, frankly, really fun-sounding Barbary Coast), in a lovely, thoroughly earthquake-proofed brick building we're told used to be the original administrative office of the Ghirardelli chocolate factory. We're a short walk from a stunning view of the Bay and practically in the shadow of the iconic Transamerica Pyramid, surrounded by many of the San Francisco neighborhoods the tourists most like to visit: North Beach, the Embarcadero, Chinatown, and the Financial District.
