about this book

Did you know that horseshoe crabs have been around since before the dinosaurs? That a killer whale can snap a dolphin in half with a single bite? That a great white shark can sense a single heartbeat underwater? If you had to survive in the deadly world under the waves, what would you do? This book descends to the ocean's depths, and shows you how its most dangerous inhabitants live, swim, and hunt. Undersea Creatures profiles sixteen of these deadly and fascinating beasts of the oceans, showcasing wild details of these animals' superpowers and awesome shots of powerful predators both large and small. Plus, its special fold-out sections and videogame–inspired design appeal to the most reluctant of young readers.
